I see yoga as a way to move and a way to be still. A way to build strength, and a way to bring in ease. I see breathing, movement and stillness as a way to release the gunk in our bodies and minds that can collect and cloud us.
Since becoming a yoga instructor in 2011, I have taught different populations of people in many settings. I have a particular passion for sharing yoga with those who are pregnant and with moms.
It is both a powerful and gentle practice for mothers. Mothers deserve the time to nourish ourselves. Both because of our inherent worth, and also because it's hard to care for others when we are depleted.
